Jennifer Burns

Jennifer Burns has a degree in business administration from the University of Arizona and has spent the past 15 years as both a controller and divisional Vice President in the manufacturing industry.
Deborah M. Colon-Mateo, Ph.D.
Director of Project Services
Deborah M. Colon-Mateo, Ph.D. is a native of Tucson with over three decades of experience in the Homeowners Association (HOA) industry, starting her career in 1993. As the Chief Information Officer for 30 years, Deborah has developed expertise in various areas of HOA management. At HBS, she specializes in Community Association Manager training, Architectural Review processes, electronic organization and filing, contracts, policies and procedures, and information technology. She also oversees the Community Association Managers, ensuring that HBS consistently delivers top-quality service to its clients.
Deborah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication with a minor in Psychology and Business from the University of Arizona, as well as a Tri-Master’s degree from Jones International University, where she graduated Summa cum laude in Information Technology Management, Negotiation and Conflict Management, and Healthcare Management. She also earned her Doctorate in Business Administration from California Intercontinental University, graduating Summa cum laude.
Deborah has achieved the highest certification in the industry, Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM®), since May 1, 1996. She is also a Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) and a Certified Arizona Association Manager (CAAM) through the Arizona Association of Community Managers. Additionally, Deborah serves as the company’s Legal Document Preparer (#80682) and is a State of Arizona Notary.
Cindy Kightlinger
Executive Administrator
Cindy Kightlinger grew up in Tucson and spent over 15 years in the Washington DC Metro area but is happy to be home. Cindy’s recent professional experience includes Administration and Management in Oral Surgery and General Dentistry. Currently, Cindy serves as the Executive Administrator which allows her the opportunity to work with Accounting, Community Management and Operations to ensure all departments run smoothly. Cindy’s detailed and pro-active approach make her a great resource for HBS Stratford as the business continues to grow and excel.
Cindy obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and loves continuing to learn about human behavior.
Lauren Lee
Director of Community Services
Lauren has over 20 years of experience as a Community Association Manager. Her career started in Colorado, then moved to Arizona in 2004 where she has worked in both the Tucson and Phoenix areas, as a community association manager she has managed 55+ communities, large scale, and master developments.
Lauren received her Professional Community Association Manager designation in 2007. She believes in working with owners to build a better community together.
